Welcome to Collusion Theatre, Scotland
Home from Home
This drama project, which explores imaginatively the idea of home, culminates in a performance in Summer 2010. And young people aged 12-18 from the South Side of Glasgow can still get involved!
Young people from mainstream schools will also work with a director and choreographer. Both groups will join together for a perfomance in August 2010.
In addition to young people from mainstream schools, theatre professionals are currently working with young people with Additional Support Needs, who will also be involved in the producon, in regular weekly workshops.
This follows the great success of our last professional integrated performance, 'The Seasons, at Tramway several years ago.
Drumchapel United
Drumchapel United looked at Drumchapel as a community of incomers from all different backgrounds, linked by a shared humanity and a shared identification with a place.
Supported by Sense Over Sectarianism, Drumchapel United celebrated diversity and difference, and culminated in a performance in January 2010
A short video, with a cast of local young people, was written by Keiran Gillespie and directed by Paul Darroch, and premiered at the same time
'What Would You Do?' is an thoroughly engaging and poignant play about bullying.
It was extrordinarily well received when it first toured in 2006 and two further tours in 2007 followed. We plan to revive the play again in 2010
